Spend a few hours at the Folk MuseumThis large outdoor museum is a collection of old Norwegian farm houses and shows you what life was like in Norway hundreds of years ago. Visit exhibits with traditional clothing, watch traditional folk dancing and even whole blocks from cities like Oslo and Kragerø. The stave church from the 13th century is especially a treat. You need some time here, there's so much to see!
Every Sunday a free folk dancing show takes place at the Folk museum. This is from the spectacular "flying dance".
Guides dressed as in the old days are to be found around the exhibition
The beautiful stave church is from Gol and was built around year 1200 Detail from the roof of the stave church
